Torque Specs for NA Exhaust Manifold & DP Flange?
Burabuda replied to Burabuda's topic in Virtual Mechanic
ok then a better question would be "do i need to use a torque wrench in this situation?" and the answer seems to be "no" -
looked in my repair manual but couldn't find. guessing 25ftlbs for manifold & 35ftlbs for dp flange?

well i don't remember if it was leaking because i limped it home and parked it a few years ago i do know there wasn't a gasket on there when i pulled it apart (i know that could mean squat) i'm about ready for 1st startup and want to be proactive..
-
there was no gasket between the mani & dp. i see a slight gap tho. should there be one? http://i39.tinypic.com/scw6qa.jpg something like this? http://i41.tinypic.com/2im5jld.jpg'' or this? http://i44.tinypic.com/2lddfo9.jpg

pcv to brake booster T ... got it rear port w/light spring check valve ... then what?
-
So there's 2 vents on the valve cover. Where would you advise that I route these on an engine that's running an aftermarket carb & intake and no conventional air cleaner btw the intake only has a provision for the brake booster and the heater

hi all, having already sealed the oil pan up on g54b and installed the oil pickup tube with paper gasket i've discovered the starquest parts locator shows a separate o-ring in addition to the paper gasket should remove the sealed oil pan to install this o-ring? http://www.starquestgarage.com/partsloc/conquest/1988/88_conquest_partsloc_nav.html 9a 3600
