if get 2 inch drop from the lowering springs . then you gain a inch of height from the camber plates so you wind up with a inch drop. am i right ?

first check all 4 tires pressure ! if one is off in the rear or the front it can cause this. have you got under there and wiggled every thing and seen if any thing is loose ? how do your tc rod bushings look ? are your front wheel bearing's tight ? any loos tierod's or steering link ? how are your ball joint's ? how are your controll arm bushings ?

couldnt you also use a w58 trans

you on ratsun also? we have couple starquest guys that come to our weekly ratsun meets up here in beverton oregon. when my g54b buddys meet up at my house. it is hard to decide whether to take the quest or my 510. lol I usualy take the 510 since it is a datsun meet! and it can keep up with komupins car just fine

screw the 2.5 exhaust get a 3inch you will be happier in the end

i had the same set up but mine ran all the way back and you could here me from 2 blocks a way! I miss how fast my turbo spooled with a 3 inch.

yes it is the 86 with a 5 5speed. I did the bse over a year a go this just started you think they are related ?

last saturday i noticed my trans was starting to sound a little whiny so i changed my transmission fluid. I put 75/90 synthetic in my 5 speed. It shifts much nicer then before but it seems a little louder. Do you think it is because of the 75/90. should i pull out the synthetic and run some 80/90 non synthetic i have ? it seems to be noise in 1st 2nd and 3rd and 5th. 5th is not that noise. none of them are that noise i just want to make sure i am not screwing up my trans buy running the wrong weight of gear oil. thanks in advance

when mine started sounding like that it had a bent blade on the cold side of the turbo i drove it like that for ever .

mine did this i used a early pulley it bolts together

my car was doing this around 46 to 4800. it ended up being my alt was dieing. and my coil was week

oops I think i figured it out my battery cable was loose i tightened it up and now the smell is gone

except the alt

man my battery gauge actually moves now it never really moved much before and the car no longer hesitates or cuts out it accelerates awsome !

i am using the 87 alt's because it is what i have laying around in the garage and money is tight right now. I also have a 88 alt in my garage so the wires hook up the same just the wire colors have changed correct? how come the white with blue stripe wire on the 87 harness is so much larger then the solid blue wire on the 86 alt harness? I noticed the 87 pulley looks a little different then the 86. Are they a differant size ? I am wondering if maybe the belt is making the burning smell. it kind of smells like hot wires or plastic thanks for the heads up indiana

My alt on my 86 died and i have 2 87 alt's so how do i put a 87 alt in my 86? I took the blue wire from the harness on the 86 and hooked it to the white with blue stripe on the 87 plug and then hooked the 2 white wires together it charges but something smells hot ! what did i do wrong ?
