As far as i know this can be used with the TBI and allows easy swapping for TBI to MPI. Allows you to take off the MAS as well which is a big air restriction in these cars.

I have a distributor but wouldn't the concept be the same if it wasn't electronically advancing (i figure you have a EDIS)

I had this same problem with my car. Under load i had really really bad miss fires. It ended up being my spark was not advancing under load.

I live in keene NH myself. I am looking for a quest. What are the fuel mods that you have on it. Is it possible your injector is stuck open. Maybe i could come up an take a look.

although standards are mega fun to drive, the automatics have no turbo lag between shifts. Having 4 gears it means its shifts less also. Bad off the line.....thats it.
