  1. I'll pay you the $600.00 just to chop it, and video tape it, then post the video All because my name is Chet and I drive a Camero. hahaha Bump for a rare car that needs a good home.
  2. yes its a 97 15'th anniversary I found it inTX at a dealership called Don McGill Toyota in Katy, Tx.

Sucks to be me.
  4. Boo for the automatic, but nice find. Save yourself some skins and pay someone who knows about cars to hit you off with a clean 5 speed swap. You obviously don't know anything about cars seeing on how your vehicles have such little mileage you either don't have a job and mommy and daddy buy your cars for you, or you are handicapped and can't even drive the cars you own, in which case I feel sorry for you. I'm not hating, I just can't stand when people waste money on cars just to let them sit around and look pretty in the garage or ride around on the trailer. Get in the car, and drive.
  5. My professional opinion is that, although the car appears to be in great shape and it's got newer/stuff - anything replaced counts as a loss for the seller. Say the car would be worth $3,000 right now bone stock in mint condition. Well all your $10,000 in mods means nothing other than the buyer is getting a better looking / hopefully better running car for $3,000. Any money you put into a vehicle is not an investment, rather an expense and should be considered as such. Wanting a a certain price, and getting a certain price are two different things. With that being said, and myself having put a couple hundred thousand dollars into my automobiles and losing mostly all of it when I get bored with the cars and sell them - I'd say ask $4,000 or best offer because unless you find a well off young buyer with money burning a hole in their pocket that cars going to take for ever to sell for any more than 4K or best. Listing the vehicle on places where buyers have funds ready is helpful, such as ebay. I know it sucks to pay ebay fees, and people want to pay less on there but if you are going to find the right buyer for your masterpiece - you need a huge audience. Good luck with the sale!

damn. Should have made a mold of it, and reproduced .. probably 80% the quests left in the country need the part.

  9. I would like to know if one of you in northern NJ or eastern PA who knows conquests (very) will come over and look over my car with me. I need a solid opinion on what to do with the car, I would like someone who can bring their Quest to my house, to show me how a good example of the car should be etc to help determine the value of my own. If somebody is interested, please contact me via pm even if you reply here so I'm sure to see your reply. I think we may have been ripped off for this car, and if that's the case I need advice on parting / selling / restoring etc. This is a crappy situation for me, and if one of you would be nice enough to come look the car over with me and show me how it should be I'd be grateful. Thanks - Brett
  10. Haha, good eye man, thats awesome and yeah, STI for obvious reasons (fenders) same as the Conquest, and the Supra well.. always wanted a 97 so I bought one. The conquest is going to be repainted WR blue like the STi if I keep it. I totally didn't even realize the neighbors car was there in the carport when I took the pics, but really good eye!
  11. No, actually it wasn't a luxury at all, I don't own an ES300 I guess that was a joke based on the price, but the vehicle was my 2006 WRX STi. MY 97 Supra estimate was close.
  12. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how much it cost to reupholster this car as it was completed before it was purchased. I did how ever have another vehicle outfitted with leather and it cost me $895.00 for the front + back seats and door card inserts. I would guess this may cost about the same.
