For sale: 85.5 quest 175xxx miles runs and drives o.k. It needs a little work. I just want it to go to a good home, make me an offer most likely I will take it. It has a cold engine stumble and the clutch slips, it can be driven, I used run the car locally. I work at a performance shop, and hear this all the time. Most likely the $500+ turbo is made by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI), and the ebay turbo is a knock off and made out of lesser materials. We have people come in and say they got this GT EVO3 16G blah blah blah turbo off ebay, cheaper than we sell a MHI turbo. Shortly after they are back to buy the real thing because their turbo spat its guts out within a month. I don't put these turbos on anything I care about, if the bushings wear premature, that stuff goes in the pan, then in the oil pump and so on. Sorry for the long post, I don't want a cheap turbo to cause you headaches. Eric

1985 GMC suburban 2500,350,700r4 trans 4x4.Two tone dark blue/grey with blue inside. I got this from a friend because I wanted a 4 wheel drive, but it is too big. I used to drive a full size truck every day, but now I'm used to a dodge colt, and my quest. So now I'm looking to get a toyota pickup. The engine is not original but runs well, I was told it came out of a camero, it has a 2 bbl carb. I have not driven it except around the yard, but my dad did , he said it ran nice and the trans shifted well. it has a good VA state inspection. The inside is nice, the dash is cracked and has one of those carpets on it, vinyl seats, the bottom of the front has been recovered the rest is factory I think, power windows, rubber floors, front and rear A/C. It has had some body work done( some filler in the door), and has some rust in the rockers and quarters, but it is not as bad as most of these that I see, the paint is still there but faded. If nobody buys it I will use it to tow a trailer, it has a reese hitch and the small 4 wire light plug. It needs a u joint in the front drive shaft, it has been removed and is in the cargo area with all the bolts. I may replace it soon, I think I have one in the shop. PS sorry for taking so long,I was sick for over two weeks and then I couldn't find anybody to help me with this, so I had to teach myself.

Tomorrow I'm gona turn the boost up on my colt and my friend Bill is tuning it, he said he would snap some pics of the conquest while he is at my house, I'll see if we can get the pics on here then.

For sale: 1985 conquest. build date of april 85. faded dark grey outside, light grey leather (i think), intercooled, 5speed, limited slip rear (acording to the sticker in the door jam) no sun roof, 175xxx miles. When I bought it,I drove it home, and in that hour and a half it seemed like a nice car. The turbo was bad, I am working on putting another on it but it is not finished. It has a small area of rust on each rear wheel well, about the size of an egg. I do not think it is rusted through, only bubbles in the paint. the stiches on the seats have come undone and the leather? has shrunk. I will try to get pics up if there is interest in the car. I'm afraid I have spent too much on it but I would like to get my money out of it, so I am asking $900 EDIT: The car is in Weyers Cave, VA, 24486. I think it should be towed. UPDATE: the car runs and drives, I drove it home from work after finishing the turbo swap, it now has a T25 fron a second gen eclipse, I don't know if it was an upgrade or downgrade, It was cheep and it fit pretty well. I was not looking to make lots of power only get it driveable, I did not cut any of the factory IC pipes, It can be put back to stock turbo with a different turbo,oil feed and return lines, and down pipe. I also have a 1G eclipse mass air meter and BOV to go with the car, as of right now they are not installed. I have to ask $1000 for the car now.

What are your plans for the shell after you strip it? are the quarters in good shape? Eric
