  1. Heres the only picture I took. Forgot I had this. Will take more this weekend. http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i23/jayjr9780/starquestforsalepap.jpg
  2. I'm 99% sure that is the car located at Pic-a-part auto wreckers in Albany Oregon and the phone number is (541)926-5855. Ask for Brandon. Thats the business line so feel free to call. It is in pretty good shape as stated. I wish I would have taken pics when I was there the other day. I can do that this weekend though. Any requests? They just got this car in so its pretty much complete.
  3. http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/car/417518069.html couldn't tell if this had been posted yet but here it is.
  4. Tan/Black combo sounds sick. I would love a set of those.
  5. I can say it is very cool to see a girl who is into Mitsubishis. I have always tried to get my girlfriends into it but they just dont get it. On another note, there's no feeling like an all wheel drive launch. Just one of my old 1Gs (91 Talon TSI AWD Turbo 5spd) NICE FLAT TIRE http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i23/jayjr9780/MVC-003S-1.jpg My old 2G (95 Talon TSI AWD Turbo 5spd) I love the Talon look as well, without all the kit and flashy extras http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i23/jayjr9780/talon2g.jpg
  6. Sorry about the thread jack.......... I realize they are not all in bad shape but most of them seem to be neglected anymore. I would love to find some nice tan leather seats. Did they even come with tan leather? Would love to see some interior picks though.
  7. Actually not the same car. I found this one in an alley in The Dalles for $200 if you can believe that. Heres the one on craigslist for $700. Not familiar with the VELNAS system, what is that? And did this car come with rear ABS because it appears to have it along with cruise, A/C, power windows and mirrors. http://eugene.craigslist.org/car/407804578.html Heres a couple more of my car. http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i23/jayjr9780/starion1.jpg http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i23/jayjr9780/starion2.jpg
  8. For as little as you can buy a rust free roller I think your better off just buying a widebody. You have a good point. My issue would be the swapping of everything else though. My car has mint interior so I figure good luck on finding a flareside with nicer interior. None of the ones I have ever seen were in that great of shape inside. Could just be due to the 20 year old leather I suppose.
  9. Has anyone ever molded flares on a flatty? I do like the idea of flared rear quarters but I would much rather see it done before I chop my car up.
  10. I think the set was $699 for the 16's. Anyone know which mesh wheels I'm talking about on the Z? A picture or even where I could find a set would be great.
  11. There seems to be alot of contraversy on this thread. Yes the point was no Honda swaps in your Mitsu. That I agree with 110%. But then who's to say building a Honda is a stupid idea, or even just FWD versus RWD. Hondas are indeed expensive compared to Mitsu stuff in my opinion and the big fart can and intake craze make me hate them just as much as the next guy. As far as FWD I guess that would be the opinion of a person who has never gone a 12 or better 1/4 mile in a FWD car. My 91 Colt ran high 12's with a 105 trap speed and did 150mph on the freeway with a straight 4G63 swap. It took more than a V-8 to take that FWD hatch and I only had 195hp. I ran Cobras, Hemis, a modded Evo 8, and countless other crap and never lost. Unless you were talkin' light to light cause I couldn't get traction until I got 4th gear at 95. Even my 84 Colt Turbo would smash a V-8 from light to light but would never top 100mph with only 100hp. The big picture here is not wether its a Honda, Toyota, Datsun, or Mitsubishi, its all for the love of cars and tuning. Did you buy your Honda that way or did your blood, sweat and tears go into it. Long nights in the garage, forgetting to eat on occasion, or passing out on the couch in the garage next to your watered down Mountain Dew at 4 in the morning with grease stains on your face and 40 wieght in your hair. I dont like Hondas but I cant knock a guy for doing the same thing I'm doing just because I have three diamond on my hood and he has an H. Try seeing the car as ones accomplishment and not as a Mitsu speed bump. LOL. I do love showing Honda guys how much faster I am and I only spent a 1/4 what they did to do it. That has always been my favorite part of owning a Mitsu. Thanks for letting me get that out. Check this site out for fast FWD Mitsubishis. This was my first home. www.4g61t.org Just one more thing, heres a 10 second all motor Honda. Tell me they aren't fun with enough money. I love my Mitsu but I ain't seein' 10's anytime soon, even with a V-8.
  12. I'm kinda partial to these wheels. They come in black or gold. They are a Maxxim 'Screech' 16x7. I would really like to find the mesh Enkei wheels that came on the anniversary 300ZX. I cant find a pic of them though. http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i23/jayjr9780/large251153-Black.jpg
  13. Thanks for the welcome and yes, a 4G63 is my plan but I see from the site that there are many options these days.
  14. Always been in to Mitsu's but this is my first Starion. Never thought I would own one but for the right price I couldn't pass it up. It has tan interior which is in the greatest shape I have ever seen for a car this old. The paint has its issues but the body is in great shape as well. It has 74K miles and a huge hole in the side of the block. I have a 2.0 truck trans and I also have the 2600i bell housing so I figure I'll swap it. I love the 4G63 but who knows. Just thought I'd share a few pics for now. http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i23/jayjr9780/newcar.jpg http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i23/jayjr9780/turboesbadging.jpg http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i23/jayjr9780/g54b.jpg
