  2. Is this brand new, or is it used? If used, how long has it been in use??
  3. Just wondering who's really clean white conquest was at Summit Racing in Tallmadge, OH??
  4. I just got my new motor in the car and it started up today. I let it run for about 30 seconds and shut it off. I changed the oil and then I let it run for 5 min from 2 to 3 thousand rpms. Now I am going to change the oil again and then I am just not sure where to go from here. I heard you should drive it for 50 miles and make sure you are all over the rpm range, or just baby her for about 20 miles. What would you do in my situation?? Any help or advice would be great. Thanks
  5. Well at this moment, the motor and trans are bolted together by 4 bolts and it is still about 2 centimeters apart. I jacked the rear end up and turned the harmonic balancer and the wheels turn. So I am guessing that the input shaft and clutch are aligned up, just not pushed all the way together? So does that mean I just need to give it a good push to get them together? Thanks Scott
  6. Currently, I am dropping a new motor into my conquest and am having a hard time lining up the tranny and engine. I have a manual and can't seem to just get it aligned right. At the moment, I have the tranny jacked up at an angle and have the engine angled to meet eachother. Its obvioulsy not working to well. Does anyone have any tips or different ways to aligning the tranny and engine? I am almost about ready to drop the tranny, then bolt the tranny onto the engine and try to set both of those intogether. Let me know if you have an idea!! Thanks

  17. Yea, I came to a conclusion that ill first just get it in and hopefully get it started... then maybe get a stillen supercharger instead. No piping and the real only big thing to worry about is hood clearance. Which means I'd probably get a cowl induction hood to maybe help out. Thanks for your input. Scott
