sellerfeller
Gonna keep it red? not sure. want to paint it blue though the red is growing on me. it's a little different red from factory, with more orange in it. not too good of a paint job on it. looks good in the rain and from a distance.prob will keep it red. then buy a blue one.then a black one.then....not necessarily in that order. time will tell i guess. sellerfeller
the past few weeks, i got a few things done.... http://www.imagehostplus.com/v2/usr/1853/111009aQ_004.jpg got the fuel tank out the hard way. didn't empty the damn thing, and it was stubborn coming down, so when i go to get another grip, it fell on my face. look Mom, no hands.... if not for my glasses, i would have lost my right eye. i emptied over 8 gallons out of it after the fact.... so at over 7 lbs per gal, i'd say it weighed 80 or so lbs. 4 butterfly closures, knots and bruises. i had done two of these tank removals before so you'd think i'd know to empty it. man that thing came down fast. i took a break and slept it off http://www.imagehostplus.com/v2/usr/1853/111009aQ_007.jpg cleaned the tank. it was like new inside. replaced the hoses and filler neck. removed the in-tank filter. installed fuel pump. http://www.imagehostplus.com/v2/usr/1853/112109aY_003.jpg new undercoating and replace differential mounts http://www.imagehostplus.com/v2/usr/1853/111009aQ_028.jpg http://www.imagehostplus.com/v2/usr/1853/112109aY_007.jpg http://www.imagehostplus.com/v2/usr/1853/112109aY_009.jpg Edited November 23, 2009 by sellerfeller

sellerfeller
finally got it running with no trouble codes!!!the shielding on the O2 sensor wire was connected to the signal wire.the hacked eBay 1g MAS i had was whacked.didn't know because it was installed when i had other problems (O2 wire and factory MAS Pigtail was shorted, probably the ISC,MPS)after getting the wideband in, things are more easily understand. TPS has a slight sweep glitch just off idle but it doesn't throw any codes.it's set at .500V. have a good one on the way and hope it will help. still too lean at idle 16s and 17s and off scale.at cruising speed it varies from 14.1 to 15.8i figure the high numbers at cruising speed could be caused by the TPS problem.?1/4 throttle and above the A/F is 13's to 10's and she pulls hard.WOT A/F is 10.5 consistently, at 15 psi. boost. i don't get 0.9 volts after fully warmed up... the MPS value reads 1.45V.i don't hear a fast zip... more like a strip-tease zip and it doesn't stop clicking.will further test the ISC/MPS.anyone know if this could be caused by missing the little piece in the nose of the ISC? - exhaust manifold is cracked and throw out bearing has started acting up but here she is: MPI next month... IF things go as planned. the work continues.... ISC/MPS.. Edited December 14, 2009 by sellerfeller
