substock Posted August 25, 2009 Report Share Posted August 25, 2009 passenger side right next to the radiator. you'll see a silver rectangular box. its one of those wires, i can't remember what color it is though that box is the stock resistor box, 1 wire is power, while the other 2 are for the stock injectors. Like the Megasquirt ECU's, the light flashes once at POWER ON, to signify that the ECU has power. That's what happenes when I power up the FIP FC-1, and Ignition Pro-1 ECU's that came with my kit. I can pass on my notes I used to wire in my MSII in my 86 TSI that had a 88 ECU. I used the Factory ECU wiring to patch in everything under the hood. I also have the FC-1 pinout if you don't have it.
