skyquest89tsi Posted November 26, 2003 Report Share Posted November 26, 2003 i used stock IC pipes to make hard pipes from turbo to IC. but. i had to do some mods. cause the location of the stock air filter was in the way. when i relocate the air filter to sit lower...the hard pipes will look better. i'll can send some pics if anyone wants to see. artinist Posted January 23, 2004 Report Share Posted January 23, 2004 btw guys, dont consider this a performance mode. i guess it might be fun to play around with but the factory hard pipes are smaller in diameter that the softer sections AND they retain heat so its a double negative. the reason to get hardpipes is to go with a larger diameter piping than factory.
