silverarrow89 Posted September 28, 2008 Report Share Posted September 28, 2008 I'll save some of the other guys from re-writing what they have wrote many times, as I asked this question weeks ago and think I have the upgrade under my belt. I have an unmolested 87 and have acquired the following: 1G MAS with pigtail 1G BOV with mount pipe 88/89 ECU 88/89 Knockbox 88/89 Injectors 2.5" - 3" exhaust is HIGHLY recommended to get the most out of this. Some may say that you need one other thing or another, there is a TON of knowledge here, everyone is helpful. Do a thorough search as well. FijiPhil Posted September 29, 2008 Report Share Posted September 29, 2008 I think the 86es require more rewiring in order to make it work since they have a different mas than the 87-89, but i may be wrong on that. With an 87, you just need to cut the end off of the little plastic shroud surrounding the MAS, and bend down the extra pin. That way you can use your factory pigtail, not cut any wires, and go back to factory if you want to. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
