Dred_85.5_TSI Posted July 25, 2008 Report Share Posted July 25, 2008 Jack the back end up spin a wheel by hand, if it is LSD the opposite wheel will spin in the same direction. Also there should be a sticker in the drivers side door jam with a warning about LSD if the car has LSD. Btw is the car a flatty or widebody? shift1313 Posted July 25, 2008 Report Share Posted July 25, 2008 i believe all lsd cars also had abs. so if you have an abs modulator under the hood(by the turbo on the fire wall) you should have an LS rear end. The 88-89 rear ends are said to be beefed up a bit. they have 6 bolt axles(at the diff) everything pre88 had 4 bolt for what thats worth Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
