I printed all the e-mails.

The car has 96xxx miles on it, it previously had a rod/bearings/crank replaced due to having a blown motor. I drove the car for 10 minutes and it broke down. I have the tow-truck receipt. I'm returning the car tomorrow to him if he likes it or not. I WILL get my money back.

Typical, flip it over toss in a crank type repair from your description. Some times they work, but most times they don't!

Good luck

Dad

You bought the car from a private seller, right? Why wouldn't you have checked the oil before driving it?

Private sale on a used car = sold as is. It doesn't matter if he used playdoh to block an oil leak on the block, the fact of the matter is it is your responsibility to check the car over before signing the title.
