Anyone getting the engine, it'll be in your best interests to get the water pump, oil pan and pickup with this as it will make your swap easier / cleaner. button Posted July 4, 2007 Report Share Posted July 4, 2007 so, for reference, the waterpump is not worth having at all.it interferes with the auto tensioner, and the tensioning pulley.and it means you also need different waterpump pulleys.at least thast what i found on my narrow block.
