ConquestCat
There used to be a website that explained how to count the gears to determine the ratio, and how to change out the rear gear. The guy even offered to do it for you on this site. Anyone know this site? does it still exist? Thanks.

Guest Kenmarrow
There is another way..in case you do not have the case open. With a friend. Mark both wheels at the same location jack up car then together rotate the tires in same diection at same speed. Before you rotate them mark joke on drive shaft now then count revolutions of driveshaft to one revolution of tires. It is not as acurate as counting teeth but it should tell ya basics. 3 and half revs of shaft = 3.54 if you almost get 4 rev then is a 3.90.
