Yeah yeah, it's uggly now :( , but it will be nice looking when done with new tubes  !!! and I'm not a super welder myself, getting better thow!!! :D

What do you guys think?

Price for the mild steel is $375.00 and does not include the external wastegate port.

I tried to make something that would fit my setup with that specific turbo, that is a S50 Masterpower; .50 front and .68 a/r turbine. If the Turbonetics flow charts are correct this turbo at 24psi will be working with 72% efficiency and making "around" 340hp.

I think it would be nice for a GP for the header, turbo and down pipe all together. I'll have to calculate price if there is interest.

Tks,

Yah, even the best MIG welds look bad compared to TIG.

The SFP headders are MIG'd to an extent, the one I saw had both processes used on it. it's often just as strong a weld...

Nice WG routing, innovative and multi-functional (compatable most WG's). Better than others I've seen with respect to WG placement.

He he... I knew you guys would give some ""NICE"" feedback  Well it's holding!!! 24psi of boost and did not crack, but #1 top stud came off. Quite odd, I would imagine # 4 lower would come off just like with the stock manifold.

I'll extend the WG further back since the bolt for the down pipe flange is a little too tight to reach.

Don't forget, I made this using only "USED" pipes, even a T3 flange from another header, LOL, what a mess! But now I have all the correct measurements and the pipes will have a better finish.

The bigger the glob, the better the job! The mounting of the turbo seems a little low. Maybe too close to the oil filter housing? I dunno. Header wrap can fix that. Once the welds are cleaned up, this could be a very attractive buy.

Actually is the same distance as the stock one, but I can always twist the #2 runner for better clearance.

Turbo is low since I want to use my *DM hard pipes instead of making new ones. They are tight but they fit.

I need to dyno this thing!!!

As soon as I finish testing this header and actually dyno the car and see what kind of HP I can get, only then, I'll put the header for sale.

^^^ how it should be. A lot of people make one, and are like o look, it must be btter than stock. I Really like the route your taking with this Heron.

the end user can always grind the "highspots" to get the looks better, just done dig into the welds to much.

i like the design... now do plenty of testing on them to avoid the potential growing pains some have had.

a few makers of headers is a good thing for the community and all those selling them.
