smog Posted May 2, 2006 Author Report Share Posted May 2, 2006 I just heard back from them, and they are 90% sure they can make the coil overs, they want me to go ahead and send out the entire front and rear strut assemblys for them. So I should be packaging them up and shipping them out this week. I told my drifting buddies which know a buttload of info on suspension specs and they told me that D2 coilovers arent too great. Like asking a chevy lover what he things about a ford car.... If you pay tein enough money they will make you a set for the starion, probably run ya about 3000+. You'd need to get in touch with tein japan since the one off thing is only offered in japan. Anyways, im not even going to get into this, do your own research and figure it out for yourself. I just want some good suspension for my car, and d2 is willing to work with me, which 99% of every other company out there would just laugh in your face. I also inspected a set at horsepowerfreaks while I was picking up my wideband, and they seem to be a very solid, and nice looking product.
