ESIrType?
I'm not running one as of yet, but will be next season.I believe everyone here is running the Ford ESiS, like on the 1.9l Escorts and such. These trigger off a hall sensor and decoder wheel. YOu can read more info on it here.http://megasquirt.sourceforge.net/extra/select.html#edishttp://megasquirt.sourceforge.net/extra/ed...hatyouneed.html Shawn

kev_rm
Ignition-wise, it's very easy to tune. I don't drive it every day, but I could if I'd stop adding new mods.

Starcon88
I am getting a little lost in all this megasquirt stuff. Ok heres the skinny on what I think I am understanding... There are 2 main boards V3.0 and V2.2 and megasquirt II is a daughter card for the main boards. Is this correct? Also I found this Megasquirt II unassembled kit for sale on DIYautotune.com, will this be everything or is this kit just the daughter card and I still will need a main board... I'm all confused  ... this is the kit I am talking about http://www.diyautotune.com/catalog/megasqu...mbled-p-59.html Thanks for your guys help, My brains spining from all this Kurt
ESIrType?
The v2.2 is more thatn enough for you, but 3.0 is the newiest MS. I along with others are running v2.2. I love it!!!Here's what you need...Go to,www.megasquirt.infoYou buy the board, processor and MAP with the base kit, then you need to place an order with digikey for he rest of your components. The have a premade BOM so all you have to do is click the send to digikey button and give them your billing info. Now you have to built it. There are other options with the premade kits for a few $$ more.I would say go with the v2.2 board simply because the support here alone will be better than if you go with v3 Shawn
