typert
I made this adapter for a T3/T4 to a stock DSM manifold with an external wastegate. I would post up a teaser!I hope to have a whole kit with new oil and water lines for the garrett ready soon. It has been my experience that Garrett turbo's can be had much cheaper than buying an upgrade Mitsu turbo. http://turboflanges.com/t25-t3-1.jpg http://turboflanges.com/t25-t3-2.jpg http://turboflanges.com/t25-t3-3.jpg http://turboflanges.com/t25-t3-4.jpg http://www.turboflanges.com/t25-t3-5.jpg
charlie31603
That looks sweet. I am just woried how much taller that that is going to make the turbo stick up. You might have problems with the hood. But good work none the less. If it dose fit I think you might beable to sell a few. Adam :-)

There's plenty of room down there on a DSM. Looks like you did a nice job on that. I would also agree Garretts are very easy to come by.
Chad
Garrett turbine housings are shorter than mitsu's, I had a T4 tangental on a stock manifold with an identical adapter with no clearance issues.

typert
Nice welds! Good stuff! I'm with you about Garrett's being cheaper than Mitsu unit's.. Thanks! I'm working on a flat adapter too for internaly gated garretts. It's 3" tall - garrett turbo's scroll the opisite way too. in other words back towards the valve cover. Chad
It's 3" tall - garrett turbo's scroll the opisite way too. in other words back towards the valve cover. the one I useed was about the same, or maybe 1/2" shorter. the WG tube came out the back, not the side, and it had a 90* elbow pointing down. both garrett and stock starion turbines have the same tangental orientation
