lloydXmas
I was searching around and i finally found a site that carries installation kits for our cars. http://www.scosche-cars.com/ thats the place. make sure you use the Starion though cuz they don't have much for a conquest. Also i hear you can use a 89 montero one too and it will work like a charm. and http://www.crutchfield.com has the wireing harness. hopefully we'll see more aftermarket radios now. TopDawg_43
I didn't use a kit, the side brackets bolted right to the side of the radio.
maxwelhse
FYI - The scoche kits are usually of pretty nice quality. I'd stay away from anything made by Metra tho.. Every metra product I've seen is crappy IMO.

Every metra product I've seen is crappy IMO. It honestly depends on the kit in question. Some Scosche kit's are much better than the Metra equivalent and vice versa. I find that at times the best kits to use in car's like ours are improvised kits. I used the Metra 88-00-9000 Universal Pocket. It's the din-sized pocket that you bolt under the radio, everyone refers to it as the 'cubby'. You'll have to do some drilling on the sides of the factory brackets to get it all to line up properly, but it works out quite nicely. http://www.bluegtzhome.com/pics/starquest/shiftboot5.jpg
