LowandSlow Posted October 21, 2002 Report Share Posted October 21, 2002 i have a 4 guage power wire run for my 600 watt concept amp and i have been trying to find the best place to get through the firewall. The amp is pushing two american pro 12" in a custom built box. for mids and highs i have a memphis coponent system. 6"1/2s in the door and i am looking for a place to mount the tweeters. chuck641 Posted October 26, 2002 Report Share Posted October 26, 2002 theres a big pack of wires goin thru the firewall right by the steering column that i used .. and if ur car is automatic u can drill thru right under the brake fluid resivoir where the clutch master cylinder would normally go .. jpmilkovich Posted October 30, 2002 Report Share Posted October 30, 2002 i drilled a 1/2" hole through my fire wall for 4 gauge wire. if you move the brake fluid container you should see a roughed up spot below it and to the left next to the brake booster. drill there. on the interior at the fire wall on the otherside there is a flap cut out on three sides from the factory. that is where it is located on the inside of the car. i drilled mine from the inside. i hope that helps. josh Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
