ilikestarion
nice, so i get a 4.6L TB and it bolts right up? then drill and mount the injector bungs (or whatever they're called) and get a fuel rail, injectors, FPR, and the ECU and i should be good? substock
Art, do you know if the 4.6 or 5.0 throttle body will fit with the stock injector mixing housing?? i'm thinking of doing this rather then grinding my stock throttle body. Jason

ilikestarion
i just read damn near the ENTIRE FAQ. that seems like a pretty bad a** product, and with the complete system (not assembled) at ~$170 that ain't bad!!! plus you don't need a computer if you use the megaview. i think i am going to pick one of those up . cheap, effective, and easy to use. Hmmm.... woohoo!!! (only problem i saw was what it said about your speedo, tach, etc not working with it. i forget exactly what it said, something like that you would have to re-wire them or use different sensors. i don't want to go back to read it again, but it's in the FAQ)
artinist
i don't know if the 4.6 has the same bolt pattern as the 5.0 TB. the 5.0 is the one that bolts on. i will check tonight to see how the 4.6 will fit.
ilikestarion
i didn't know which one bolted on, that's what i was askin about too. if the 5.0 fits, then i'll use that. BTW, is that the 5.0 mustang that was pushrod? or is there a new one that we use? interesting side note: i know a GIRL that used to have a 5.0 supercharged pulling 10.* 1/4s she is sexy and hot and she is taken

Art, thanks, i couldn't remember if it was the 4.6 or the 5.0 that you had. just curious if it will work with the rest of the stock setup(fuel mixer housing). shift1313
i built a megasquirt, really easy(if you can solder) just time consuming. I scrapped other things so ive only got 80 bucks complete in it. there are people that sell them on ebay tested with wires and everything for between 200-300 bucks. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...sspagename=WDVW i cant find the other post now but if you watch there are a few guys that assemble them and sell them for 240 i think. that one above has a 1year warranty.
