turbo26tsi
I am the first person to own this wing in the United States. The only aftermarket wing availible. Got it from Aerotech in New Zealand. I had a hellish time trying to communicate with them, they were not good on returning my emails. Also i paid $120 for shipping which was supposed to take 1 week, ended up taking 4 weeks and i still had to pay customs. I still need to do some body work to fill in stock mounting holes, but i had no time to get my motor running and get the spoiler painted and mounted. http://www.tristarion.com/images/carpics/1058838205.jpg http://www.tristarion.com/images/carpics/1058837888.jpg peace
scotty
does that include the middle piece over the deck lid or just the sides? does not look louver compatible.
Morphing89TSI
not bad. does aerotech now have photos? any others have any dealings with aerotech? doesn't sound like a favorable review. Morphing89TSI
turbo26tsi
yes, of course its a 3 piece spoiler, but what is louver compatible? no, aerotech doesn't have photos. They weren't that great to deal with.
badmonkey
hom much did it cost you to get it to your house including the price of the wing do they have a website?
artinist
i am curious why you changed your spilers? if its for weight saving you could have just replace the center piece, thats the heaviest part. is the center piece compatible with the factory side pieces? concordmk1
Are there ANY benefits of this spoiler over stock. Doesn't look as if there would be and at that price it seems quite a waste (imo) to go through all that for no gain.
turbo26tsi
If you can't see the difference in shape, then you pay no attention to detail. I took that first pic to illustrate the stock one side by side to the NZ fiberglass one. 1. It looks alot better than the stock spoiler, it flares back and up more than stock and actually has some downforce. 2. It is very light since its fiberglass, also if i want to modify it, add aero holes or make it bigger, its easy to do since its fiberglass. 3. The paint doesn't peel like that stock garbage sponge material. 4. it has no 3rd brake light, which in my opinion looks like crap the way its setup on the stock spoiler. 5. Lastly it gives the back of the starquest a more aggresive look, with bigger angles to compliment the flared fenders. link to aerotech: http://www.aerotech.co.nz/ All in all for the normal starquester its probably not worth the $420 shipped, but I wanted a more aggresive look and all the other benefits above. peace, kevin
artinist
I wonder what the sideskirts and the airdam looks like. they also have a "replacement airdam" listed for the starion.

And the only reason it appears to flare back and up more is because 1: it sits higher than the stock thus leaving hideous holes 2: it's a lot closer to the camera thus making it appear larger and further back. If there were back to back it would provide a better comparison. It actually appears as if it would sit lower if it actually fit in the stock position. turbo26tsi
Well, it is different than stock, there is no optical illusion or "appear" to be perhaps my pics weren't the best to compare. The holes were not filled because i was too busy building this: http://tristarion.com/images/carpics/1058837952.jpg lots of effort, little time, peace, kevin

OPTIMUSPRIME
ah man, you took my idea... I always wanted to do that to my car(longer spoiler). I always thought about...maybe molding some fiber glas into the stock to make it longer... looks good ,very good. Except for the holes.... 8) I'll be doing something similar soon... Dan
Kevin, Does the fiberglass spoiler omit the rear wiper arm? (I'm hoping the answer is yes) Thanks!

offalot
OOOK so thats what it is..Ryan and I were sitting there staring at that thing for the longest time scratching our heads at norwalk trying to figure out what was going on, with the holes exposed and all, It look spretty good, you are definately a stickler for detail, paying that much for that subtle of a look, nothin wrong with that though. Boosted_One
I like it. It looks subtle, not obstrusive or ricey at all. And of course I like that motor!!
indy_85stariones
Rear Spoiler from Aerotech... http://www.aerotech.co.nz/Makes_Menu/Mitsu...mitsubishi.html http://fighterzero.4t.com/photo6.html Power Antenna The Starion sold in Australia has the radio attenna mounted on the roof. I would assume that spoiler would need to be modified. Rear Wiper on hatch The Starion sold in Australia has the rear wiper. I can't tell from pictures, whether wiper was removed. Redliner777
That is SOO close to what I want. I like the face that it sits higher, and hangs back lower, but I'd want it to still hold to the original bottom edge for a thicker looking spoiler. But still it's a sweet looking mod
