knightrider
Hi yall, I was shopping for rims and found the perfect set, but the offset is not our factory offset. Fronts are 17x7 with the correct bolt pattern but a 38 offset, and the rears are 17x8 with the correct bolt pattern and a 35 offset. Can I just throw these on, or is there something I must do to correct the offset? Thanks. http://www.adrwheels.com/wheels/?sfID1=12&sfID2=
VenomV8Quest
im not sure but i think with that much offset, they will want to stick out from under the wheel well.which wouldnt work.

knightrider
OK, maybe I should rephrase my question a little. Will the offset of these rims have any ill affect on fitment? Will they hit the springs? Will they ride funny? Come on guys, I really want these rims? Any help would be great from anyone that has put non-factory offset wheels. Thanks
D_Venable
They will fit with spacers. For the ones you listed you will need a 20mm spacer for the front and a 45mm spacer for the rear to get them to the stock offsets for those particular widths. If you don't get the spacers, I'm pretty sure they will rub on the spring, that is if they would even go in that far. If you paln on getting them, get spacers. VenomV8Quest
but wouldnt he need to get longer studs?with the spacers, the lugnut will not tighten down enough?
D_Venable
What I'm thinking about are the type that you bolt to the hub, then you bolt the wheel onto the spacer that has its own studs. At least I think they make them like that. Like these http://www.wheeladapter.com/images/Wheeladapters02.jpg
