ESIrType? Posted April 5, 2003 Report Share Posted April 5, 2003 I don't know if anyone makes a dash pad cover for our cars........hmmmmm.....idea.. There may be something out there to help bring the life back into it. The is some 3M stuff that's like $12 a bottle that will help save it, but it won't put the black back in it. TeamTSI-VP Posted April 12, 2003 Report Share Posted April 12, 2003 I am a Interior detailer at Extreme street conversions a small company in central ny. we do all kinds of interior details and restoration. this is kinda a short term fix because it will eventually fade back and go back to the way it was but if you go to any parts store like pep boys or something they all carry some sort of paint for interior parts. try to find a black that matches the dash and lightly spray the areas not enough to really but a thick coat on or anything just enough to bring some color back into it. while its not a long term fix it will keep your dash looking good for a year or so untill you can locate a new one.
