The other thread was getting to damn long.  LOL  It was also getting more to the "No stupid, you can't do that!" point also so I started another one.  I found these on E-bay.  Might not be perfect but at least you guys might get inspired and do something simillar..

still tinkering with mine, but i can't seem to find a happy medium for the lights as far as looks/cost/lighting output goes...  round lights just don't look right on this car at all, but smaller square ones look kind of goofy too.  i think the stockers are about the best option on this car.  if i ever get a good camera i'll take some pics of my ugly little creations.

I love the headlights on the BMW 5-series, how they light up around the circumference. Wicked a** looking when coming at you! If they would only fit, (too big I think), and I could retain the popup feature.......  :-/

Here's a link for a pic of the lights......

DUUUUDE!!!  Hella makes a driving light called the Optilux, or they own that  company or whatever.  ANywayz they have a driving light like that and I was looking into it to change the headlights on my Bimmer to that cuz I love those angel eyes on the new 5 series Bimmers.  Anywayz, I called and got prices and sizing and they only come in 4" diameter lights which is too small for my Bimmer by 2".  We could get someone to make them work for the Quests though!!  Here's the link to the lights.

They are only about $59 each or something like that but they would look oh so pimp on our cars.  I'm glad you mentioned that man I wouldn't have remembered that.

keep in mind that those are just fog/driving auxillary lights.  they are not meant to be a primary lighting source on any car due to the beam pattern.

i met a guy last night that had 2 pairs of HID lights on his datsun 510.  they were off of one of the american leMans Cadillac racecars.  when he hit those things HOLY crap!!!  definitely not street legal, but damn do they work good.  it was like looking into a couple of welding torches at one time.  i want to base my setup off of the same housings, just with more affordable H3 bulbs.  like i said, when i really get to do this i'll take lots of pics and possibly make a kit out of it.  i think it would be nice to lose the weight of the pop-ups from the front end of my car along with a carbon fiber hood.  that would drop the front end almost 50 lbs.

Hey Brian, thanks for that link! Those lights are the only kind I would consider changing over my stock lights to.

Now what I'd like to do is this....... change over to those "angel eyes" lights while keeping the pop up feature, but the lights would only "pop up" half of the way compared to the stock setup. Does that make sense? I think that would look kick a**.  ;D

Yeah that would be pretty pimp but I still want the flush headlights.  I know Hella sells some square headlights or driving lights we could use for low and high beams.  I'll look a little later and post my ideas.

Or these are available in both high and low beam.

All the square or rectangle lights are friggin expensive if you want good Xenon or HID stuff.

LOL  I thought so but I wasn't going to accuse.  LOL  Try to do it with the square looking ones.  See how that looks.  You know the little cube looking driving lights.  I think it'd match our body style a little better
