Tman Posted August 17, 2023 Report Share Posted August 17, 2023 Well it is a sad day for me. Life has thrown a curve ball at me and I am forced to sell my 1988 Conquest. I’ve had this car for over 20 years. Most members know this car from Pigeon Forge and other car meets because we have been around forever. It is a multiple trophy winner with many modifications, too many to list but please ask if you have any questions. Motor was rebuilt around 83k, car has 111k now. FIP MPI complete conversion around 10 years ago and has a 19c turbo with about 22k. Chad’s Header had been added along with a larger intercooler. A brand new redtop Optima battery located in trunk, D2 struts, slotted drilled rotors, new brakes maybe 18k on them, stainless braded brake lines as well. Rear end, u-joints, and drive shaft was all replaced a few years back from a 32k mile car that couldn’t be saved . Transmission was rebuilt and has about 25k on it. It has an ACT 6 puck racing clutch with Fidanza aluminum flywheel and short throw shifter, and 3 inch exhaust, no cats. Other work includes: Rear hatch spoiler, new stereo system with touch screen head unit, JL amps and subs, and Kicker speakers throughout. The car runs great and is fast but has never been dyno tuned, only street tuned by a member that knows his stuff. Car is running on MS1 with a new fuel pump. Has 83 HOOD, also American racing 17 inch wheels and new tires all around ......windows are tinted dark . Now for the bad .... The a/c worked great up till this year and it still works and blows cold but does have a leak. I never used rear wiper and have no arm . Antenna worked great up till about 2 years ago and started making a growling noise still worked but I never listen to radio only USB or Sat radio so I unplugged the antenna. Driver’s bolster is rough, as most are. The front spoiler was cracked and repaired but hasn’t been painted yet and the front bumper is cracking on right corner. I can take pics and give more info to anyone serious, no tire kickers please . i have talked to a bunch of members that knows this car and they all say $20k but I feel with the a/c and front spoiler/bumper, $18k is a fair price. Car is located in Hartwell Ga. i will not part it out or sell anything off it . You will also get boxes of used parts and a bunch of new parts as well. If you have any questions please contact me.
