Mitsu turbos can take full oil pressure, others require an orifice to limit pressure. Best to review the requirements for the turbo you're running. As far as cleaning I assume you're talking one of those at a time? That would be good, each gets something the other can leave behind. After you're absolutely positive its clean I would give it a rinse with IPA (isopropyl alcohol) to scavenge the last of the water and blow compressed air through until you can't smell the IPA any more.
