clueless
i dont know if anyone got back to you on this but the big 2 are forAC but the little coper one controls your foot face controls for theheater and ac.it controls the placement the air will blow.foot - face - defrost.make sure you have the proper vac source going to it. thanks for the help! ya someone told me it as for AC and I read that people remove them and run the engine wiring harness for the 2jz through that spot right? I did not know about that copper tube though, do you know what the swap people do with them then?
importwarrior
i believe ( and it has been a long time since ) but the copper tube was removed from the AC box under he dash.i put it back in the stock hole you see in your pic. but if i remember right it kind of was flopping around. just hangs there.it still served a purpose to supply vac to the foot face controls. clueless
Thank you importwarrior, I was going to cut it but now I know to keep it!Finally this Sunday it didn't rain, and it wasn't plus 33C either! Got the engine bay painted many things went wrong, the gun fitting did not fit with my compressor for some reason.. then when i had paint it started leaking from the paint cup, you can see paint drops all over the floor. Luckily I had other guns so I swap the fitting and the paint cup and it worked. It was such a nightmare for my first paint job. Super hard to reach behind the brake booster and other places. It took forever to adjust the gun and pressure to the way I wanted. Anyhow it took me 1 hour to sand, 1 hour to tape and prep. and then 4 hours to paint. here it is! it turned out so much better than I anticipated. My next step is to undercoat the car. and maybe reassemble the car and paint the entire thing. Don't have enough money to really start the 2jz swap yet. Will probably wait till next summer. http://i1301.photobucket.com/albums/ag109/kawiwee/5F1EEAA0-98D2-4458-84CA-9C14E428DF6E_zpsynysjtmj.jpghttp://i1301.photobucket.com/albums/ag109/kawiwee/7524E3CD-2C72-4F0E-949C-F06E32286BAD_zpsiorzgfxt.jpghttp://i1301.photobucket.com/albums/ag109/kawiwee/772AE740-D6F9-4723-8173-CE8B0237BDD5_zpscef6f1rq.jpg
