ErikM3
Hey everyone, I am not a very active member since i have not started my Tsi restoration, however I do have 2 questions. First one: Upon searching a topic or wanting to start a new tread, my account says "You cannot start a new topic" or "You cannot reply to this topic". Why? hmm. Second thing thats a little bit more specific: I am swapping in a 5.7 Hemi into my 88 Tsi and I will be using a Tr6060 6spd manual trans. I know most people have done the LS with the T56 swap but Im a born and bred mopar guy so thats the reason for my route. After the tunnel is cut and enlarged, does the center console fit into its orignal place with factory mounting? Was just a thought thats been puzzling me for a while. Any help/ advice/tips are greatly appreciated. Thanks -Erik
importwarrior
You need 10 post total. Then you should be able to post anywhere. I know annoying but I didn't set the rules. Also it used to be 50.
creakyjoints
T56 can fit with some sledgehammer massaging. That is behind a g54b though.
TexasQuest
From what I remember an auto trans shell has enough room for a T-56 and a manual trans shell needs minimal massaging with a hammer.
GINASQ
But, that's only if it's behind a g54b or 4g63 right?
TexasQuest
That I'm not 100% sure on.
