Mech
anyone ever do a electric power steering pump with the stock starion steering box? thinking about doing it with my engine swap build.....for no reason other than making the engine look minimalist as possible... would be cool to find a way to not have the alternator run off the fan belt.....then i could run the engine with no belt at all lol
Guest
If your go that route, may as well go rack and pinion steering. Or better yet, electric power steering and eliminate the need for a pump and fluid.

Guest
I was at the Japanese Classic Car Show this year, there was a Honda with an amazing wire tuck job and engine bay clean up. No visible brake booster, no fuse panel, no hoses, nothing! Just pure engine and trans. It was unbelievable. Man if only we could get away with 1/4 of the job that Honda had. But then we would have no comfort features.
