jwmact
I have an 87 Quest that I am getting restored, but I am wondering if it has the Sports Handling Package? What would I need to look for on the car to determine this?
dmyers151
The SHP option was only available in 1988 and 1989. For posterity, you can look on the driver's side door sill. An SHP optioned car will have the tire sizes labelled as "FRONT: 225/50/16, REAR 245/50/16" See upper right corner. http://static.wixstatic.com/media/81b6d5_8b6ad55e20b9480a8c614a23bfabc07d.jpg Edited July 16, 2014 by dmyers151

Fuze
Wow lol learn something new everyday. I never knew it was only 88-89 that offered the shp. The only differences are the 1" wider rims front and rear, wider tires, and the struts had adjustment knobs on them...
dmyers151
^ I believe the springs had different part numbers than standard springs as well. Not sure what the difference was, if any.

I have heard that somewhere too. All I know is that you couldn't upgrade the front SHP struts with inserts like the normal ones after they wore out...
