Hi

My name is Philip, I'm 26 years old and I'm from Switzerland.

A year ago I bought my first Starion (1989, 2.6lt. "fatty") and since this day I can't leave my eyes of this

stunning beautyful car. Most of my friends still don't understand. They drive Supras, Celica GT4 and Imprezas.

They can't understand why I spend money in such an old car. Expect two of my friends who drive AE86 and Honda CRX.

Since I have my Starion I replaced a few stock parts:

- XYZ Coilover suspension (The only one who makes me a certificate in Switzerland)

- Short shifter

- MK FRP - hood

- 3" turbo - back exhaust system

- Double DIN - radio and new speakers for better sound

and I'm still working on it.

I also have a 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT (aka GTO), 1996 Mitsubishi Pajero (aka Montero) and a 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X :D

You see….cars are my hobby and I only spend money for them <_<

Sorry for my bad english, my mother tongue is swiss german.

Attached a few pictures of my cars (3000GT in Swiss Mountains)

This site with this forum is great!! Huge compliment!!

Kind regards from Switzerland

I was very surprised. I don't use the car as daily, but on weekend to drive around over mountain passes or on highway.

The comfort of those coilovers is pretty good (middle - hard setting). And if you choose the hard setting, you can also go

to the race - track :) The softest setting I never used :D But you have so much different setting options, so you can it make

to the suspension you want.

The only thing is the installation. But I don't know how it is with other coilovers. Rear wheels are no problem. But front wheels

you have to weld the coil tube on the stock shock absorber tube.

I can't compare it with another coilover specific in a Starion. But my friend's AE86 has mounted a KW3 and there's no big difference.

But it's not the same car, difficult to compare ;)

But I would say, it's definitely better than a D2 or a K-Sport coilover. Here in Europe XYZ is mostly unknown.

We have KW, Tein, D2 and K-Sport and the local brands from Germany (right next to Switzerland :) ) Eibach and Bilstein.

But in asian Ralley and track races XYZ is a brand since aprox. 10 years.

Which coilovers are driven in US?
