wooffyj
I've had my Conquest for about 8 months now, and it has come a long way. When I got it was kind of a turd but I saw the potential in it. The body is still it bit rough, but it's running better then ever. Still have a long way to go, but I'm having fun. Between work I find time to work on the Quest. http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u627/wooffyj/IMG_1345_zps150655f3.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u627/wooffyj/IMG_1519_zps4a749ea8.jpg Thanks to "tsiswat" the Quest is handling much better. Got some Coilovers and Cusco camber plates. Great stuff at a good price. I put them in Monday/Saturday.I had done my own alignment, but decided to take it to a shop. That was a bad idea, after 3 hours of waiting my Quest now pulls hard right. I was told that a main shop tech would have to do my car cause of its age. (I was told "we don't see many Supras") LOL...So going back in morning to one get my money back or two get it done right! Also got NGK plugs and wires. http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u627/wooffyj/IMG_1889_zpsf70a6e83.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u627/wooffyj/IMG_1890_zps085275bd.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u627/wooffyj/photo1_zps66caf763.jpg Its nice to have the support and information here on this sight. 88-cnqst-tsi
congrats on getting it finished but what shop did you take it to? When I got my alignment done, it was at a independent shop and the guy just took 2 hours cause he tightened the box up and my job of doing it by eye was so bad that he couldn't get a reading on the machine LOL no wonder it pulled so much. but all that cost me 120 and the steering is like new

When I eyed it in it was better, can't even drive it now. Pulls so hard right! I'll will give the "Alignment Tech" a chance to get it right. I just wish they wouldn't have wasted my time. Its not like I walked in I had an appointment. They should have told me before they started the alignment guy was not in today. It was funny to see all the shop guys looking under the hood. Thanks for the Congrats, but I'm far from finished on the Quest! So many things I want/need to do!
scott87star
I always do my own, a tape measure can get you most of the way there (toe, front and rear). Some inexpensive level tools can finish the job (chamber).

wooffyj
Man i want coils for my car so bad. You could look up how to do a track alingment btw. . You should get some Coils for your Quest! I am wishing I had got D2's but i'm still happy. Also saved a few bucks. I'm trying to stay budget friendly. My Quest isn't the nicest...It's rough. Never going to be a show car, but with that being said, sure does make it fun to drive. I don't mind driving to work, all around the US. Left it at the airport for 3 weeks jumped in fired right up. Hell, I plan to drive it most the winter. I'm looking into getting a nice Quest...too dump money in . I'm just thinking if I'm going to pump "big" money in a car, its cheaper to find a Quest in better shape then the one I have now. That don't mean I'm not going to put money in the Quest I have now. Or drive it into the ground. I just want to keep it on the lower side. Plus the hunt for the right part at the right price can be fun. http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u627/wooffyj/IMG_1955_zps2cd4d16e.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u627/wooffyj/IMG_1961_zps01b704fb.jpghttp://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u627/wooffyj/IMG_1960_zpsefdc3964.jpg Edited September 18, 2013 by wooffyj
