Well being a DSM enthusiast, Im proud to say my son has taken a lot of initiative to purchase an 88 quest TSI and begin his first project car. He is BradMurphy71 on the forum. I have never owned a SQ but have a little experience with them. He has a complete car, but it is currently a mild basket case. The drivetrain is out of a good friends car with low mileage( He pulled it to replace it with a fully built motor).Money is a little tight right now so I was hoping to use the barter system to get him some more parts and keep the enthusiasm up. We dont have any parts to trade but Ive got a collection of nicely modified 1/24 and 1/32 team losi micro rc cars that are really cool and really fast for the scale. The micro t does 45 mph rwd, theres an awd rally car, a wheelie poppin highroller truck that is in the 30 mph range, all cars have brushless motors and 2.4 ghz electronics so you can mix and match with the 2 spektrum controllers. Way too many aluminum upgrades to list, including metal trannys, ball bearings, oil filled adjustable aluminum shocks, etc...etc...etc... Theres also a highly modded competition crawler. Lots of money in these and they are barely used. The micro t would make a great scale rc for using a toy or model SQ body, did I mention its fast...The awd rally would make a great drifter or scale model for a talon, eclipse, evo, 3000gt. They are about the size of your hand or smaller. Enough said, If your interested He needs upgrades more than anything else.

Thanks, shocks are a must but I figured we should buy those new. The car is from PA and it was stored so the rust isnt too bad. Your car looks pretty rust free, nice car. Your lucky to live in ohio where the cars seem to hold up alot longer. I used to come down for the dsm shootout in norwalk all the time.
