Dad Posted June 17, 2013 Report Share Posted June 17, 2013 Steel Valley Super National will be held June 21-23 in Salem, OH. Quaker City Raceway Park and Stadium GM Superstores are the main sponsors. Come and join this event the entire town is one big car show with racing at Quaker drag strip all 3 days. This is a all day and all night event for three nights with vendors and Live bands for entertainment at multiple locations through out town, We stay at a campground nearby....Here is the campground link.. http://www.chaparralfamilycamp.com/Just around the corner is quaker city dragway that is a sponsor.... http://www.steelvall...s.com/Home.html The City of Salem has a weekend of fun for all ages planned that spans from Wednesday June 19th until Sunday June 23rd. There will be antique, classic, hot rod cars cruising Salem all weekend. Salem will have an antique car show in Centennial Park on Friday from 5 - 10PM. There will be bands on two stages, many types of food vendors, "Bigfoot", and the Goodyear Blimp. Wife and i will be camping that weekend and cruising the streets of Salem, ohio. I doubt that we will be at the dragstrip but you never know.. lol Anyway it would be great to have a few Quests cruising the strip of salem with us.
