608leng
i am a new starquest owner, i was surfing the forum but couldn't find any threads on fixing a broken e-brake. i was wondering if anyone with experience has fixed their e-brake before?, and would be willing to give me some small pointers on specifics, thank you
BuGG
Its pretty straight forward. Is it seized? Your problem might be the rear calipers.
scott87star
Download the FSM from http://www.starquestgarage.com, the e-brake uses the rear calipers so it is very likely they will need a rebuild. They are easy to take apart but a real bear to put back together. The FSM covers it just fine but allow plenty of time for re-assembly. Or just get a reman from Rock Auto.
