conq2230
After a few years of less than optimal performance and mostly sittiing in the garage, I finally have my car running well. Now, that it is running well, I'm turning my attention to the "other" aspects of the car which have been ignored. I need to replace all my struts after 160K miles on an 87 tsi. I'm just using the car on weekends for fun -- normal driving on the roads. I'll have historic plates on the vehicle when I renew in June. After searching the archives, it appears the only bolt in options I have for a factory suspension is the kyb inserts on the front and the mookeeh struts for the back. Is this correct or have I missed another option? Thanks Bob
D_Venable
sounds about right, unless you get lucky and find someone with some new old stock kyb, or Tokico blue rears
Crazy larry
Mookeeh also sells front inserts.
TexasQuest
I would go with a matching set of Mookeeh struts front & rear since it's mainly a weekend cruise car.
