machopr25 Posted August 30, 2012 Report Share Posted August 30, 2012 i been having this problem for years and is annoying me alright here we go i got a 87 starion swap in a corolla te27 usng the factory fuel pump the problem is that everythime alow on gas and i take sharp corner the fuel pmp goes dry pressure drops and he engine stalls out. engine turns over but i have no psi now i gotta bleed no fuel line then the engine starts . i was thinking of dropping in a walbro 255 pump just wondering what u guys reccomened .oh yeah thefuel is located lower then tank i actually used the drain hole in the tank and put a banjo bolt with hose for the feed Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

87B71Brad Posted August 30, 2012 Report Share Posted August 30, 2012 sounds like you have no baffle in the tank to hold fuel for taking corners and such. Or you should be using the factory pick-up that picks fuel up from this location. You just cant have a drain type unless its baffled and tank is built for such like most (cheap) fuel cells feed from bottom have a low spot and will acually hold fuel even in corners.
