So I got the text from Mark on Friday...she's going to be ready. Outstanding! Angie and I drove down to Mark and Kate's today to pick her up. We pull the trailer up to the shop, and there's Mark...detailing until the very end!

And get this...he went ahead and surprised me by shooting the engine bay in a gorgeous gloss black. I was going to be doing it myself, but this looks frickin awesome...and totally unexpected.

These turned out better than I thought possible. Once again excellent masking and placement. BTW, all the white stuff is polishing dust. The wheels in the reflection are one of my sets of SHPs that Mark is going to do in the same color scheme as the car.

Now this was funny. Two old men pushing a car up onto a car hauler (Angie was supervising). Not bad considering Mark slept a grand total of three hours in the last two days to make sure the car was ready. Of course I was pretty much worthless...the kid in candy store syndrome was in full effect.

On the way home we stopped for some caffeine and Beaver Nuggets from Buc-ees. (If you have to ask then you are missing out.)

Plus I just couldn't wait to see the car under some serious lighting...

Another couple of shots once I got her in the garage at home. Please forgive the water spots and white dust...gonna knock that out this week. The real kicker is some of the finer details that Mark hit (pleasant surprises to me I might add). He color matched the MotoCam hood struts and the strut tower brackets to the car...so killer.

A couple more shots at home. I'll get some more up this week after spending some detailing time. So glad we decided to color match the C-Pillar covers...it just ties in the whole paint job.

Man, Buc-ee's has some lights, don't they? I'm glad I don't pay their electric bill!

Glad you like it, and I'm sure it feels good to have it in your own garage. I'm glad to free up some space, but I must admit, when I was out in the shop after you left, it felt like something was missing LOL.

Once the wheels are done and that thing's on D2's, it's gonna be sick!
