strang3majik
I put the MAF on a pipe going to the throttle body inlet? I have no intercooler piping but need to move it up a hill and into the garage, so, it needs to run for maybe a minute...lol But, should it start and run? An 87 btw. None of this 86 mumbo jumbo. nomofwd
It should start and run but badly if the rpm/airflow increase to the point where boost should be developing. It would be very rich at that point. Also, with the turbo spinning with no resistance I.E. not making pressurized air it will overspin easily and damage the unit. I would recommend clamping some breathable but resistant material over the turbo outlet to keep the turbine speed in check.
strang3majik
i just need it come idle and maybe hit 1500 rpms, not actually going to drive it. And sorry...meant to say the wastegate would be open. And, sarasota! I'll be back in the englewood area thisd summer!
FijiPhil
Ive had mixed luck for some reason with this.. but you should be able to move the car around your driveway with no ic piping. As long as its not a severe hill.. you should be ok!
TainterRacing
You should be able to NP.
Skippy
I had leaves and oil on my rear cat catch on fire when my car ran somewhat like this for a little over a minute. So check for smoke afterwards.
