84 technica not running complete

Silver with grey interior, new stereo etc. was a daily driver in '07. ignition lost spark, new coil and pickup. no juice to coil, can't find ecm.( now know to look under seat ?) Divorce etc. are forcing sale.needs tires now. little rust,fadded paint. broken pass side window is taped up. Had head job in '96 along with new radiator and spoiler. Ran and drove great till '07 Has over 100k of adult driven miles. I can deliver to Denver or beyond on a trailor. $1,800. as is where is.

You likely need an ignitor, its a black plastic box behind the coil and they go bad and no spark. You can replace them with another good used one or get one from an 88/89 that was a circuit board in a tin box rather than being poured into some crap in a plastic box that cracks.

"No power to coil"

 

 

Check your ECI fuse link next to the battery. It's either corroded or blown.

 

Alternately if that doesn't fix it check the ECI relay above the ECU located behind the passenger side kick panel. The thick red wire in the corner of the relay connector should have 12v + with the key on or off. It gets it's power from the ECI fuse link. If no power there the fuse link is bad. If you have power there the relay is bad.
