SOLD.

Car is located in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

It needs a new turbo to run. I tried taking off the old turbo to get it rebuilt and ended up breaking a bunch of bolts off in the Exhaust housing.

Car has:

Forged pistons (Wiseco)

Marnal NJV head

Stainless valves

Magna MPI

72 lb injectors

Megasquirt

Distributorless ignition

Cam (old JG engine dynamics)

Adjustable cam gear

ITS 60-1 turbo, needs a rebuild and is not currently on car, but you can have it

Stainless equal length header

Tial Ext. WG

2.5 inch stainless IC piping

3 inch stainless exhaust

245/225 tires, not an SHP car

This is one of those half-finished projects. The engine build was about 17k ago. Started and ran great prior to the turbo going. Engine bay/ wiring needs a cleanup. The body is very straight, with little to no rust. Interior is also in very good condition. With a little bit of work (mostly cosmetic) this car would be a beauty.

Vehicle mileage is just under 138K. Body is very straight other than a couple of very small door dings. There is slight surface rust inside the lip of the rear fenders right behind the tires. Not very visible. Paint on the hood and bumpers is oxidized. Car has short shifter installed. WBO2 sensor/controller installed but needs a new display. Aftermarket boost gauge. Aftermarket water temp guage. Fans are on a switch. I have all the reciepts for most things so as long as checkers keeps carrying alternators and starters for this car you will get them for free, minus labor of course.

Full disclosure: here's some stuff that you will probably want to work on: Relocate air cleaner (currently right on the turbo), power streering needs a new high pressure to low pressure hose to work (i currently have a hose on it to seal it up), front strut mounts, front ball joints, air dam, turbo, front tires (rears are good), the synchros are old and worn on the tranny but as long as you are not fast and furious shifting it is fine.

I'd buy it if we could get it to the east coast! What transporting on something like that/

I am not sure what the transport would be on it, but last time i transported something it was a minimum of 600 and went up to 1200. Basically you would be spending a decent chunk of change. I can look into it if you are serious.

what flange is the manifold? who made the manifold?

in theory, if i came, i could throw another turbo on and drive home?

I believe the manifold was done by a shop. It looks like a pro did it regardless. Looks like a t3 flange and has the 5 bolt exhaust outlet. I can take some pics and measurements if you want.

And yes all you would need is a turbo and off she goes. Actually if you just got the right hot side for the turbo you could strap it back in and off you go.
