helrazr70
I have a 100% rust free '88 Starion with 60,841 Carfax verified miles that is technically a one owner car. It was owned by an older man who passed away while it was in the shop and the car was sold to the mechanic who was working on it--who sold it to me. The only real ownership was the first owner. The mechanic pulled the engine and sold it to me and it has been in my garage. It has no "dents". It only has door dings. It is silver and in factory paint. (except the passenger door and part of the upper rear 1/4 were clearcoated due to a scratch repair) There is a little fading on the hood and roof. It has an immaculate cloth interior. (black/silverish checkered) It has no engine or trans. Otherwise the car is pretty well complete. I bought it because it has low miles, never wrecked, rust free, factory paint (no surprises) It's an easy builder. I am in Reading, PA $1000. These pics were taken the day I got the car. It has spent the majority of the time since then in my garage. Otherwise it was under a cover in the driveway briefly. http://i561.photobucket.com/albums/ss56/helrazr70/DSCF0021.jpghttp://i561.photobucket.com/albums/ss56/helrazr70/DSCF0026.jpghttp://i561.photobucket.com/albums/ss56/helrazr70/DSCF0027.jpghttp://i561.photobucket.com/albums/ss56/helrazr70/DSCF0050.jpghttp://i561.photobucket.com/albums/ss56/helrazr70/DSCF0020.jpghttp://i561.photobucket.com/albums/ss56/helrazr70/DSCF0016.jpg Edited September 14, 2011 by helrazr70

helrazr70
when i first read this i thought it said the car was free =( If you go that route it says "RUST FREE". I have about a 5gal bucket full of FREE RUST flakes I just swept off the floor from the parts car that just left. You pay shipping and that bucket is YOURS! Coke
Oh this sounds yummy. If I had a spare engine lying around, this would be a great shell to pick up and breathe life back into. Take any trades? :-D

helrazr70
Also, I forgot this: The driver side rocker panel had a couple of big dings from where the car dolly jack-knifed when turning around. I took the rocker skirt off and put on another silver one that is ding free but has a little black spray paint on one end. It may clean off with some brake cleaner--I have not tried. David Springer has a nice clean silver one for sale if that little bit of paint bothers you.

vbrad511
If you were a bit (or a lot) closer we'd be talking about this. What a sweet car with a BIG load of potential. Got me drooling a little here.

helrazr70
Pending sale to StarquestRescue. Deposit taken 9/17/11. He will pick up the car in 2 weeks. The rest of you that are interested may see the car up for sale quickly after he takes it. He really only wants it for the interior. Stay tuned. Elkidmino
Oh man, this is the dream I've had for years, even with those stock graphics. Too bad I saw this so late, I'd hate to see the interior taken out and then for sale again. It'd be nice to keep the car all original. I have an MPI motor for it too. :/
helrazr70
The car was picked up this morning.
