Hey guys. well the other day i was in an split fault car accedent and now my precious starion was hit on the front left of the bumper. now i must sell my car. i dont have the time and money to keep this starion alive. i would love to fix it but being in school i need a daily driver. It a 1988 mitisubhi starion 5 speed manual with sunroof. its black with black leather interior non shp.the deck will not play tapes. it has 167292 miles. so the problems with it now are the intercooler was cracked and pushed up and pintched the boost hose. and beacuse of that the car wont idle very long. it will run and drive on its own just wont idle on its own. the headlights stopped moving and the bumper and airdam are gone and the turbo on the hot side is cracked so it makes a whistle. this car was my daily drive and got me every where. it never failed. it just had a new head gasket put in, new arp head studs, turbo gaskets so no exhust leaks, balance shaft elemanation done to it the motor runs smooth and strong. it just passed smog less than 3 months ago. this car will come with 2 extra doors off a 88 conquest, a passanger side fender in mint condition, 2 87 starion seats. i just had the valve cover and timing chain cover polished. im looking to get 1200 but taking offers.

just pm me here and leave a # if intrested.

here a thread i did for the restoration of this one.

your trading him a trailer and $600? helluva deal right there

hell no. the trailer is towing that piece back to be stripped. 600 bucks is because im generous and feel its worth 600 on the high side.

Based on that statement, I think you need to change your profile section "interest" to KILLING classic Japanese cars, not "restoring".

That car is fixable. Really, it's just minor front end damage and some 1/4 panel damage.

that's disrespectful...you're from California, you know just as well as anybody from here that a vehicle that has passed our Nazi smog laws is worth at least $1200...

Hey kid, I have a 12a hotside and an intercooler that you can HAVE if you pay for shipping...and your headlights don't pop up because of a stupid fusible link right on the corner that got hit, I think you'll see your cruise control and a couple other accessories don't work also...fix the fusible link and the lights should pop up. Keep your car.

Anybody out there got a bumper skin they can live without? Anybody in his area that can help him work on it?

nevermind the frame damage to upper rail. sure save it.

dump in a few grand, sure.

or part it, save some others that dont have frame damage.

i have killed alot of cars to save alot more.

thats what happens when parts go out of production. parts cars are needed.

how many cars have you restored?

not fixed, restored.

i am all for keeping a classic on the road. but pos on the road, why.

track beast has a perfect car to save.

i want that one too.

restore it. use this one for that one, and my other one, and perhaps others. i have been restoring cars for 18 years. i am in no way new to cars or sq's. i worked on them under warranty at mitsu.

anyway, austin sorry about clogging up your thread. free bump.

my offer stands. 600 is due to the 150-200 in fuel to get it. were you in la, 700 maybe 750.

thanks

I was gonna say the same thing. I got a spare stock IC I don't need as well. No front bumpers though. Maybe some sidemarker lights but I'm not sure. The front end is easily fixable with bolt on parts. With a plunger and a good yank you may be able to pop most of the rear damage back out. The car is definatly worth saving.
