JoeyLeet2
If you want AWD, light weight, cheapness, why have you NOT got a Subaru Justy? under 1900 lbs, cheap to rebuild, easy to work on, easy to swap, awd, hmm.. can easily be made brand new for under 10k!! Xtreme Industries
i dont think the cruze is a first gen car, it has been available overseas for a couple years so you shouldnt have any reservations about buying one. i bought a 2010 camaro just over a year and a half ago, it is a first gen car from GM and i have had no issues at all. (knock on wood) GM seem to have changed over the years, i guess they finally figured out how to build a better car.
