Fuze Posted December 17, 2010 Report Share Posted December 17, 2010 (edited) What's up fellas, Just realizing it's almost 11 years to the day since I got my first SQ, a white 89 with 40K on it. I remember back in the day a lot of guys around NJ had the cars, worked on them and sold parts for them, keeping us all alive. That little network of people made a big difference, I'm talking about you, Mitsumark, and other lunatics. I'm kicking around the idea of maybe meeting up at Englishtown one of these days, maybe at a drift event or drag or whatever, just to shoot the crap. I'd really like to get a garage to work out of and have a way for us to save money, experiment, and drink beer. Recently I leaned about a few NJ guys. What's up LionKing, 10SecRolla and Anthony. I am not on the road yet, but I am trying to get the car on the road. Still looking for parts. I need a good trans to put in car. My trans is popping out of 4th and 5th gear. also looking for some other parts. Any help on parts would be great. The car has been sitting for 10 years. I heard awhile back you were rockin a C5..Damn..Whats it like kid ..Shoot me a PM when you get a chance..Its good to know your still out there.. Jason Posted December 19, 2010 Report Share Posted December 19, 2010 It was definitely a good time back then. That was a bunch of girls ago and I have a new hottie to bring this time! Still have the same car, it was very clean but having a lot of downtime and sitting wasn't good to the body, it's got some cancer on the 1/4's etc. I have had it since 96 and can't let it go. It's still running strong but I just need to take care of some sensor issues to get it running perfect. Hopefully I'll come across a clean roller that I can get some body parts from. The white car on the left was mine and the white one on the right was Mitsumark's. The bottom pic is me and Mark between the white cars. I remember an Asian dude with a clean silver car with sheetmetal wing, etc.. Awesome that you have some pics! Who would have thought I wouldn't have been killed in a fiery crash by now? Yeah I am pushing the C5 now, first car that cost over 5K, lol, but only 17K. It's fast and smooth and all that but I still spend the money on the Starion. (Yeah, real Mitsu this time) I have had three SQ's since the white one, so I must have your disease, lol, but the white one... is gone. You need to pick one up, or another 280ZX. People appreciate them now a lot more. And as far as you getting back up to speed, listen you can teach most people about this car. I'm gonna PM you to get in touch.
