It was a mean little car. A bunch of folks on local racing site I frequent did a bunch of "group build then raffle off cars". This was one of the group built cars. I took these pics during my part of the build. It was a cool car and plenty quick. I didn't win it sadly. But I have more pictures of it than my other cars.

For the most part I play online with Muscle Cars. It is fun because they are all kind of bad and really end up close to even when they are upgraded.

StallionProject86, thanks for the heads up on the Starion. I hadn't logged on in a while. Last night I did some seasonal events and bought it.

No problems. That group build idea seems kinda cool save you a bit of money that's for sure. Lol

Yeah, back before seasonal events, money could be tight. You almost needed friend to get anywhere in the game. Before the online dealer some cars were far too rare and hard to get. I lent my 512BB 2 4 or 5 folks so they could compete in the Ferrari/Italian/Supercar events. I have to borrow a truck from someone as well. I'm not sure that game is better now, I sort of liked the sense of community it made.

Im quite impressed by the quality of the screenshots.. wow! If I ever do pick up a ps3 I will definitely be picking up this game. Ive always been a huge fan of racing sim's so odviously the GT series and Forza are up there. Currently I only have a 360 so I play Forza 3 online with the steering wheel and love it. (If anyone else does and wants to race let me know ;D ).

I would not be too amazed. Pro screen shots are take from emulated PS3's running on a PC with sick grafix horsepower. It's how they make them look so good, then when you get it home and hook it up to a true monitor (not a HDTV a true monitor has a much smaller pitch size) it still does not look as good.

So I'm curious I have played both GT5 and Forza (both with wheels) and I would call them both "comprable" I think if you turn the realizem settins to max on both Forza might edge GT5 out a bit, but not enough to worry about.

My question being this. I have not played GT5 online. Do people online in GT5 only play with dummied down realizm like Forza online players? It's one thing I HATE about Forza everyone wants to play bumper cars, ect and you just can't do that with a real car. It's like impossible to find anyone to play if you setup a race with all driver ades turned off, real damage, real tire ware, real gas ECT.

Just curious and figured you could answere.

I can speak for mine, these are straight from the PlayStation system aspect ratio 16:9 as is with a typical widescreen hdtv.

I hardly play online myself with GT5 if anything I'm in a rally match or some play around drift session. When players usually steer away from emulated assistance. As far as "bumper cars" go occasionally you'll get a immature player but not often.

^ now that almost makes me want to switch. It's all immature bumper cars players at the start of like EVERY race. Ether right off the start line (I don't even hit the gas right away any more) or the very first turn. I get 16 or more cars pile up in the first corner of races.... BUT it's not like they are all just bunching up and little bit of rubbing driving bumper to bumper. These idiots just run into you full speed, everyone spins off, and it would have totaled real cars to where they would not be moving. I hate that.
