yes, my tsi met its demise today thanks to a red light running camry.

damage is limited to the front left corner where the battery was.

before I settle with the adjuster I need to find out if I have enough

interest to buy the car back.

the goods:

solid 5spd

forged 8:1 rebuild 50k ago

ported marnel head with tim's roller cam 40k

coolant free ("dry") intake with freshly cleaned stock injectors

EIP intercooler w/ 2.25 custom ceramic coated hardpipes and hks racing bpv

ported evo super16g turbo w/ ported/cut manifold 10k

98 3000gt double din cd head unit, works w/ steering controls, perfect fit includes console

3" maf w/ maft w/ filter

custom ceramic ahp w/ bpv dump

hks evc1 the original from back in the day - practically make for the sq

hand polished refinished wheels w/ very good yoko's

87 black velour interior - much better than 88/89 crusty leather

power steering pump has less than 20miles on it, new hp line too

fresh power steering box

front/rear camber plates

front/rear strut tower bars

front/rear suspension tech. sway bars - if good

H&R springs - discontinued but the best period

tokicos all around

ceramic heat shield

3" dp - 2.5" pipes with flex, cat, magnaflow, dual tips - slightly damaged(?)

there is more stuff that either I forgot or have decided to keep.

its been a good 18 year run for this car and I. they said it couldn't

be a good daily driver but I proved them all wrong - year after year.

I've been on these boards since the kolda days so I hope my stuff can keep

some of you going. shoot me some offers or at least some interest so I

can make figure this out and move on.

and it will be a couple days before we start to haggle.

I am supposed to be hearing from the insurance company today to sign the papers.

if nothing has changed since late friday I should have the car back mid-week.

I'd like to give it a week to find a buyer for the whole enchilada but I'm asking

for too much money for a "wreck".

so yeah, quit holding back, the wait is over. email me your requests so I can

organize everything fairly and not leave anyone out.

my feeling is that this 'feeler' post is no longer valid. nobody wants to read

through six pages of dibs and questions anyway. again, plz email.

if you need a part that is not listed in the op ask for it anyway - I've got it.

(the list would have been shorter if it only included parts I don't have.)

I'll start new posts for items left in a couple weeks.

emailed ya. Let me know.

Interested in the Shocks/springs and sway bars... how much for the combo shipped to 98105?

How much of a drop are these springs? Any pics of stance?

If you wouldn't mind responding to both:

I spent a few hours with him today removing the motor (complete)and tranny. I bought the motor minus the intake and exhaust manifolds, a/c compressor, and PS pump. The radiator is out too. The interior is in good condition and it is obvious that the car was well taken care of. He is a really nice guy and has very reasonable prices. I know he has some turbos too. Just drop him some emails he will be working on pulling more off tomorrow. BTW the motor and tranny came out much easier when we remembered to remove the shifter LOL. Edited by BIL
