1987 quest heavily modded 88k

I have a very heavily modded 87 sunroof quest with 88k miles. Heres a short mod list.

 

Red on black 87 quest 88k miles

Full 89 interior swap

Built engine: All machine work done by general engine rebuilding in cleveland, Well known local Mitsu guy

Wiseco forged pistons .030 over

Shot peened and re-sized rods ARP hardware

Clevite bearings

Balance shaft removal

Computer balanced rotating assembly (crank cut .010 on rods)

Fitted Crank scraper (not installed)

Ported and polished Marnel head (by Box Performance out of West Lake ohio)

284 schneider solid lifter cam

Shnieder springs and retainers

1mm oversized stainless valves swirl polished and undercut stems 5angle valve job

Aajusa mls head gasket

ARP studs throughout the entire engine

89 flywheel and trans

ACT 2600 6 puck clutch

Short throw shifter

Custom RC engineering injectors 680 primary and 1200 secondary

Treadstone cast t3 manifold flanged for .38mm wastegate

Real garrett 60-1 turbo with polished compressor

Tial 38mm external wastegate with open dump

3 inch turbo back exhaust

MSD Digital 6 ignition and coil

Griffin aluminium radiator slim fan

Gm maf with translator

Apexi safc2

Autometer boost gauge in stock cluster location

Custom bar and plate FMIC and hardpipes silicone couplers and T-bolts

Tial 50mm Q blow off valve

Walbro 255HP fuel pump

Aeromotive fuel pressure regulator with gauge

KYB GR2 struts on all four corners

Taylor plug wires

89 ECU and knock box

Greddy Profec B boost controller

NGK wide Band

 

I am sure I am forgetting a bunch of s***, this is all I can just remember off the top of my head. All the parts including the motor have roughly around 1500 miles on them and the oil has been changed 3 times since then (every 500 miles) with rotella T. The car still needs tuned, I have been messing with it slightly since I hit around the 1200 mile mark and it pretty safely tuned to 18psi on race gas (110). The car "should" make atleast 400whp on a good tune and 30psi. Heres 2 quick pics, I know they are not on in the pics but I do have the pass fog light and both bezals. Took them out to replace the bulbs. Let me know if you want more pics.

I have a Eclipse 98 Eclipse Gs Ill Trade you. Has a brand new Green with metallic Flake paint job, engine wise its stock other than a Intake, and cat back exhaust. Also has a body kit front end on it, with halo headlights. It makes a nice daily driver, or somthing to mess around with. The engine is a 420a, and it has a 5 speed manual trans. Thanks and good luck on your sale either way.

 

Ill also drive it to your front door for the trade as well!

Its cool, Im not really pushing the sale of this car like I should if I really wanted to sell it. I would bet itll probally still be here when you have money. Also I have most of a 89 shell for the picking to anyone who buys this.

I can get you some under body pics tomorrow, there on my work computer but no the car is very clean underneith.

 

Heres a better pic of the primered area. It was the worst spot on the car (it wasnt really bad) but it was starting to bubble so I cut it out and put fresh metal back in.

Note that the A-piller pod is no longer in the car, I took it out 2 weeks ago, replaced the pilliar with a nice one and re-located the autometer boost gauge to the stock location in the cluster, its flush mounted with a red bulb. I took the guage apart so there is no lense or bezel, looks like a factory install.

I dfo still hav ethe car, unfortunitally, The high bidder on ebay came out and beat the snot out of the car and turned it down. Its clacking at 2000rpm now, Im not sure if its a rod bearing or the oil pump failed or what. I have been tossing the idea around for the last week as to what to do with teh car. If you want give me a call 440-342-2412 if your still interested at a cheaper price. I would be willing to meet you also. Thanks

I just replied to your PM. I didn't realize what 2k clack meant, but if its something major like that I think Im gonna have to pass. I need something reliable for back and fourth to school, don't have the time of day to diagnose/fix something like that.
